There is a grassy area across the street, I will be there
Tim
Sat, Apr 12, 2025, 8:00 AM
I will attempt to be at the meeting location at 8, we do have places to be so we will leave at 8:30
End location: Ladds Addition
Let's do something stupid! (see other ride today) Deets: we will meet across the street in the grass from Beaverton Transit Center leaving promptly at 8:30am. We will be taking the Sunset Hwy Path in to Portland passing through Washington Park. We will descend to Flanders St all the way down to Naito. We will cross at the Hawthorne bridge and then it is a short hop over to the circle. This is by no means a perfect route but it is the one I prefer to lead a group on as it is the one I feel the safest riding of the options. There is a big hill to climb on the way to the zoo and then a long descent (so make sure you and your bike are prepared). We should have plenty of time though so do not worry if you think you climb slow. Note: The main event at Ladds is intended to be a family friendly team affair. The rules are very loose but please be respectful of the main event organizer, the event space, and other participants. If you are planning to stay in the circle for a while I recommend bringing things to help you be comfortable and to add to the party in the middle. I do plan to ride back in the evening after the event (and eating food) so if you are interested in tagging along for the return trip let me know.

21+ OnlySat, Apr 12, 2025, 10:00 AM
Roll at 10:30am
Ride is a loop
Meet at the new Trek location in Slabtown (1560 NW 21st Ave near Raleigh) for coffee and donuts at 10am. Roll out at 10:30am on a medium-paced (12-14mph) group road ride, crossing the two bridges over the Columbia River and enjoying the bike paths on each side. We'll finish where we started for a total of about 40 miles. We will try to stay together and have several quick regroup stops to help make that happen. As your ride leader, I respectfully request you stay behind me and allow me to set the pace. If you go off the front, I will not be in a position to yell cues or chase you down. If your pace is much slower than 12mph, we'll wait for a bit but may be gone from the regroup stop when you arrive. For maximum success, download the route (it's free - link below). Be sure to turn on the "POI" (points of interest) layer so you can see where the regroups and bathroom stop are. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46462217 Rules (which you agree to follow just by showing up!): 1) no complaining 2) do whatever you want 3) do not sue me or the bike shop feeding us donuts! Things to bring: 1) No lock is needed 2) Your flat repair kit, including a spare tube (even if you run tubeless) 3) Your snacks and drinks (we will not be stopping at any stores or cafes) Thanks to Trek Bicycle Portland Slabtown for hosting us!

Help a new street plaza work better for biking! Depave needs your help in the design process. Test ride three different configuration options. The most popular option will be installed for a month-long test this summer, and later become part of a permanent build out. Last summer the plaza hosted events and a popup skate park, and there are plans for more events this summer. What is the right balance between placemaking and bicycle access? Sun, Apr 13, 2025, 1:00 PM
Meet at 1PM. Roll out at 2PM
Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer. We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. We aim to impress that this is a safe environment for all; no aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Please review our Corvidae Code of Conduct. Meet 2nd Sunday of every month Hang at 1 PM Wheels down at 2 PM sharp Bring your respect for each and the city. Leave no trace 🤘🏽

There will not be a store stop. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring a flat kit so that we can get back to the tour quickly if there are any issues.

Ride is a loop
End location: Ride is always a loop
Our instagram is nakedHeartspdx so you can see how we ride. Weekly themed rides. Different ride leaders each week, but you can expect the ride to be social paced (8ish mph), no-drop, safe and welcoming, store stop with safe clean bathroom access and the ride is always a loop. We practice consent and non-violence specially with car interactions, what one ride does affects how all rides get treated. The Mellow Mondays are a space for (new) ride leaders to try out ideas in a very supported environment. You’ll often see Mondays rides appearing again during the warmer riding season. We follow the shift code of conduct and expect everyone to be respectful of themselves and others around them. This is so we can actually relax and have fun and connect with each other in a softer space. This isn’t a sober ride but we ask for moderation to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We recommend Abraham Fixes bikes in N Williams and NomadCycles (e-bike specialist) for repairs/sales and parts. Our friends over at RideSafePDX host regular ride and we’ recommend those as a pleasant warm group to ride with.

Meet at 6:00 ; ride at 6:30
Join Nomad Cycles and the e-bike community on our monthly East side e-bike ride! Come with a full battery to ride with the ease only an electric bike can offer. We will meet up at the outdoor seating of 5846 NE Sandy Blvd starting at 6 and ride at 6:30, meandering around interesting city terrain with an opportunity or two to climb hills effortlessly and open that throttle if you so desire. Distance is dependent on the demeanor of the crowd so we may take breaks at concession stops or patios if desired. This is a consistent monthly ride held on every third Wednesday of the month. Frequently Woman led and all are welcome, this is an inclusive ride that is treated as a safe space.
