DESCRIPTION:Everyone knows that Portland is home to Powell's\, the biggest
  independent new and used bookstore in the world! But Powell's is only one
  of a city teeming with bookstores: the weird\, the quaint\, the highly 
 specialized\, the downright creepy. We'll ride to several\, stopping to 
 browse and tell stories about the encounters we've had in their stacks. 
 We'll bring along a writer or two\; maybe we'll be lucky and find some of 
 our own books shelved among the worn paperbacks and the self-help 
 classics. Ride of about 8-10 miles with several stops. Not a loop.\nMeet
