DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED on account of Thor\, the god of 
 Thunder!!!\nExperience Portland's best gravel ride and most scenic commute
  to North Portland as we pedal along Leif Erikson Drive and up Saltzman 
 Road through Forest Park\, stop at the excellent Skyline Tavern for well-
 deserved food and drink\, then bomb down Germantown Road to the St Johns 
 Bridge to cap it all off. Most of this ride is on hard-packed gravel\, so 
 wider/knobbier tires are recommended (but not required). The ride is about
  15 miles total\, with about 1500 feet of elevation gain (but also 1500 
 feet of glorious descent at the end!). Don't worry if you're a beginner 
 gravel rider or Saltzman Road climber--we will stop at a few places to let
  people catch up\, and will leave no one behind. There's a good chance it 
 will be dark by the time we leave the Skyline Tavern\, so bring your
