DESCRIPTION:New date and times\nCome celebrate National Cheesecake 
 Day/Golden Girls Day with a bike ride! We will observe the holiday a 
 couple of days late so we don't have to swelter in the high 90s. 
 \n\nPicture It: Portland 2021—\nA beautiful young group of Pedalpalooza 
 riders leaves from Tropicale to embark on a journey to the new\, fourth 
 wave pandemic world. They laugh\, they bike\, they eat. They love\, they 
 hate\, they eat. They dream\, they hope\, they eat. Every time you turn 
 around\, they eat. Bike and eat with us to celebrate this glorious day 
 with GG-related festivities and surprises to boot!\n\n— Start point is 
 Tropicale\, 2337 NE Glisan St.\, Portland (which serves booze and food). 
 Order ahead for pickup @ https://www.tropicale.co/menu See top of 
 page.\n\n— Will bike from there to cheesecake pickup location: Petite 
 Provence on Alberta. ETA 2:30p. Call to reserve a whole cheesecake in the 
 morning the day of at (503) 284-6564\, otherwise slices available to walk-

 Fernhill Park for (team or individual) trivia contest and (individual) 
 costume contest\,* both with (token) prizes\, ETA 3:30p. If you aren't big
  into biking but are big into The Girls\, feel free to join just for the 
 park portion. Fernhill Park has proper bathrooms. They might even be open 
 so you can change into your costume.\n\n— *UPDATE 7/28* Since ride was 
 rescheduled to earlier in the day\, there will be time for a final stop at
  the Shady Pines food truck pod. \n\n— We will observe the Golden Rule and
  enjoy golden hour on the most Golden day of the year\, together!\n\nBring
  your mask if you're giving Tropicale or Petite Provence your money. The 
 ride itself will be nice and flat and leisurely. It's about six miles. Not
  a loop. We will stay together and look out for one another. Possibly even
  offer each other dubious advice. It is\, after all\, the Golden way. 
 \n\nIn the unlikely event that there’s a hurricane a-coming\, ride will be
  rescheduled so check back. \n\n*If you don't have a costume\, gold attire
  is highly encouraged. Dress like the mother of a Solid Gold dancer.\n1:30
