DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: event is now full\, please email if you'd like to be 
 added to the waiting list. (There is now a second one on the Pedalpalooza 
 calendar - the Swim Across Portland Encore on July 30th.)\n\nWe'll ride to
  a private pool\, a secret swimming hole\, then a public beach.  This is a
  specially curated full day of summer bike fun!  Your ride leader 
 respectfully requests riders who sign up plan to stay for the whole event 
 and not come with a plan to leave early. \n\nAgenda:\n11 am meet\n11:15 am
  PUNCTUAL roll time\n12 - 1 pm private pool\n1 - 1:45 pm ride \n2 pm - 3 
 pm secret swim spot\n3 pm - 3:30 pm ride\n3:30 pm - 5 pm public 
 beach\n\nPace will be around 12-15mph and total distance is about 15 
 miles.  No e-bikes please.\n\nPlease bring all the snacks and drinks you 
 need for the day\, we will not be going shopping or visiting restaurants 
 during our ride\, just stopping to swim.\n\nEmail bicyclekitty@gmail.com 
 to sign up.  If you sign up\, I respectfully request that you show up.   
 No shows create sadness for other folks who would've come but were turned 
 away because the event was full.  Attendance is limited to 10 rider-
