SUMMARY:BikeLoud PDX SE/E Chapter Ride to Bike Works by p:ear and Rosewood
  Initiative in East PDX

DESCRIPTION:We will be taking a trip out to East Portland to visit our 
 friends at Bike Works by p:ear (https://bikeworkspdx.org/) and discussing 
 how we can build coalitions to make East Portland a safe space for 
 ALL.\n\nThis ride will follow the PSU Farmers Market/Loop the Blocks Ride.
  We will meet at the Cart Blocks (SW Park Ave and SW Ankeny)\, enjoy some 
 food\, ride to the Rose Quarter Transit Center (second meeting spot)\, get
  on the Blue\, Red or Green MAX to Gateway Transit Center (our third 
 meeting spot) and then ride East Portland Greenways/bike lanes to SE 141st
  and Stark where the new Bike Works bike shop is located. Here is a Google

 lanes. NOTE: The crossing at E Burnside is marked but the portion over the
  tracks involves acute turns that may be challenging for some\, especially
  those with larger cargo bikes.\n\nThere will likely be a stop at a local 
 eatery in East Portland following our meeting with Bike Works\, likely at 
 Nellys Taqueria (SE 162nd and Stark). We will then take the MAX back 
 west.\nThree Meeting Spots: 1. The Cart Blocks: Meet at 12:45 pm. Ride at 
 1:30 pm\; 2. Rose Quarter TC: Meet ~1:45 pm\, MAX (Blue/Red/Green line) ~2
  pm\; 3. Gateway TC (at NE Pacific St): Meet ~2:15 pm\, Ride ~2:30 
 pm\nEnds at Bike Works by p:ear (SE 141st and SE Stark St)\; option to 
 extend to SE 162nd for food and then MAX
