SUMMARY:Derek Forever Memorial and Celebration Ride

DESCRIPTION:A remembrance and celebration of one of Portland’s most loved 
 cyclists Derek Johnson.\n\nThe ride begins in Ladd's\, gather 7ish\, ride 
 7:30ish.\n\nWe will be riding South through Reed. From there we will go to
  New Seasons for supplies. Then on to Willamette Park for a memorial with 
 lanterns (bring a candle and anything for the alter if you'd like). The 
 event for lantern memorial is here https://fb.me/e/3vCHRnZoJ. If you'd 
 like to just do that portion it will happen around sunset. Lastly\, we 
 will ride to Pirate Island (aka The Slab) where there will be a 
 celebration of Derek with DJs and dancing. Bring a shot glass or other 
 container of you want to try partake in beverage sharing.\n\nIf any of the
  details above change I will update the event ASAP. I will also try and 
 share a tracking link for anyone looking to catch up to the ride 
 ?\n\nUpdate: We will keep the Sellwood Park stop in our back pocket for if
  time permits. I'm a little worried we will be late to the lantern 
 memorial if we make two stops before Willamette Park.\n\nAnother update\,
