DESCRIPTION:*Note change in time* (was 1:30\, is now 2:30)\n\nShady ride 
 on Leif Erikson Trail in Forest Park.  One of Portland's true gems\, this 
 ride will be reasonably cool and pleasant even if the air temperature is 
 100 degrees.  (We've done it several times).  Forest Park was saved from 
 developers in the 1950s and 60s.  We'll celebrate Portland's activists 
 heros that brought us this park\, and protest the lack of greenspace 
 elsewhere in the city.  Many people can ride this with skinny tire bikes\,
  it's a well maintained gravel road.  We'll do a 30 minute snack stop at a
  nice shade spot on the trail.  Ends at Pittsburg Beach\, a secluded 
 swimming beach just upriver from Cathedral Park\nRoll at 2:30\nEnds at
