DESCRIPTION:RESCHEDULED TO 10AM\nThis is the second of three rides 
 sponsored by The Deaf Look Club\, a subsidiary of Bridge City Montessori 
 School\, which is committed to bringing socially accessible events to the 
 Deaf and disabled community. Responding to a need for communication-
 accessible bicycle rides\, Deaf Look Club is proud to present three 
 family-themed rides for Pedalpalooza! All rides will feature communication
  in spoken English and American Sign Language. The bicycling 
 Deaf/disability community\, their families\, and their allies are all 
 welcome!\n\nBCMS is a primary age Montessori school with a unique mission.
  It is the only program of its kind to use a multi-lingual oral/sign 
 approach to teaching young students. Deaf kids and their hearing 
 counterparts learn together as equals.\n\nWe will meet at BCMS at 12pm. 
 There will be a short introduction to BCMS programs and exciting plans to 
 expand our services. Rides are about 2 hours long and will be a short and 
 easy-going 8 miles. Our goal is to introduce the local Deaf community and 
 their allies to safe and fun bicycling in the Foster Powell area. Chris 
 Balduc will lead a route through the district\, stop at key locations in 
 the district\, talk about the local infrastructure\, teach some basic 
 signs\, and give advice for those who wish to use bikes for transportation
  in urban Portland.\nThis is a FREE Portland PedalPalooza event!\nWe are 
 aware it is hot. Stops will be taken in shady rest spots along the way. 
 This is a no-drop ride.\n\nThere will be a DLC ride each month in Bike 
 Summer\nThe third ride is August 10th - 10am to 12pm.\nAll rides start and
  end at the BCMS campus.\n\nBring bikes\, helmets\, and water. BCMS will 
 offer technical support. \nA wet rag around your neck is your friend in 
 the heat!\nMeet at 10am\, Ride at 10:30am\nEnds at You may choose to end 
 your ride at the Arleta Triangle street fair. Chris will lead the group 
 back to BCMS after 20 minutes at the street
