 PADDLE RIDE\, not a bike ride)\n\nAmerica? Wack!\nColonialism? 
 Wack!\nPatriotism? Wack!\n\nPaddling? Lit!\nWaterfront music? 
 Lit!\nFireworks? Lit!\n\nGrab your watercraft and let's go paddle the 
 Willamette River! We'll slowly make our way from the Sellwood Riverfront 
 towards downtown to catch some of the Waterfront Blues Festival music\, 
 then meander over to the July 4th Fireworks later in the night. Might take
  a short detour to explore the cove at Ross Island (it's a wildlife 
 sanctuary - stay on your watercraft\; look\, don't touch).\nPaddle will be
  at a leisurely pace. About 8-10 miles total.\n\nWhat to bring?\nPersonal 
 watercraft - bring your paddleboard\, canoe\, kayak\, etc.\nPersonal 
 floation device - having a life jacket (or other PFD) onboard your 
 watercraft is required by law (and smart on a day such as July 4th)! The 
 water is still cold - be aware!\nLIGHTS! - We're gonna be paddling into 
 the evening\, so bringing (waterproof) lights is a MUST!\nWater\, snacks\,
  sunscreen - it's gonna be a hot one\, folks! Hydrate and wear 
 sunscreen!\n\nWhere/When?\n7:00pm - Meetup at Sellwood Waterfront 
 Park\n**Park outside of the lot - you might not be able to get your car if
  the lot closes**\n7:45ish - Start paddling\n10:00pm - Watch fireworks 
 near downtown\n10:15ish (after fireworks) - Paddle back toward Sellwood 
 Waterfront Park\n\nJoseph is the ride leader. Look for his pink hat and/or
  red life jacket!\nMeet at 7:00pm\, paddle at 7:45ish pm\nEnds at Ride 
 starts and ends at Sellwood Riverfront
