  a mellow\, 5-mile ride in N Portland\, pausing at a few spots along the 
 way to look & listen for birds. The ride is NOT a loop. 90% of the route 
 is on multi-use paths\, mostly paved\, but there is a stretch with gravel.
  We'll end at Smith & Bybee Wetlands. Bring binoculars if you have them.
