DESCRIPTION:Contrapalooza is back!\nJoin us for a night of lively folk 
 dance with smiley humans as we ride and dance our way around Portland. 
 This ride is designed for beginners to learn how to contra dance\, no 
 experience needed! Just bring a good attitude and willingness to make 
 mistakes. We will roll around town with dance stops called by local talent
  and sound provided by NakedHeartsPDX.\nEach of our dances will have 
 instructions\, all calling is non-gendered\, and this is an intentionally 
 queer and PoGM welcoming space.\nJoin us!\n(We practice consent and non-
 violence on all our rides. Please help make the ride as safe as possible 
 for yourself and others. If you have special needs please come talk to 
 your ride leaders. Banned riders and riders who can't post on the calendar
  are banned here too. Banned dancers from contra communities are banned
