DESCRIPTION:Pedal against the machine\nThursday nights. Hard start at 8:05
  PM. It's almost the weekend\, so let's ride bikes. We roll from and 
 return to Columbia Park (meet in front of the pool) for an hour-ish ramble
  through North Portland and beyond. No agenda beyond riding bikes with 
 good people. Expect roughly 10 miles at a conversation-friendly pace (~10 
 mph). We usually have a brief rest stop along the way for snacks\, 
 stretching\, high fives\, admiring a weird tree\, taking in a panoramic 
 view\, or whatever else seems important at the time. \n\nThis is a no-drop
  ride. Basket bikes\, ATBs\, all-road bikes\, cruisers\, "gravel" bikes\, 
 fancy bikes\, old bikes\, rusty bikes\, whatever. If your bike  can 
 comfortably cruise at ~10 mph for an hour\, it’ll be fine. \n\nBring:

 -Front and rear lights (required)
-Snacks if you'd like
-water or optional
  beverage\, maximum vibes (no store stop). And\, an extra bike tube 
 wouldn't hurt!\n\nMeet: 7:45 PM

 and see what North Portland looks like after dark. \n\nPre-game meetup
