SUMMARY:My fringe is so long so nobody can see how sad my eyes are/ AKA
The Newer Emo Ride Versus\, Does anyone have hairspray and can help me
back comb and I also need some eyeliner/Aka The old Emo Ride
CONTACT:NakedHearts:PDX
DESCRIPTION:There’s rides some of us talk about doing for months and ever
since The New Country versus New Authentic country row last Summer
Moorland and Ella had talked about making this ride happen. This ride will
have both leaders cohosting and won’t be two parallel rides.\n\nHere’s
Ella’s description:\nThe playlist is for the nights you remember every
heartbreak\, every messed-up moment\, and every feeling you didn’t know
how to handle. Blink-182\, Green Day\, My Chemical Romance\, Paramore\,
Fall Out Boy\, All Time Low\, Panic! At The Disco\, and Good Charlotte\,
are a few of the bands that became the soundtrack to growing up\, to
surviving middle school\, high school\, first loves\, and first
losses.\n\nNow\, you’re older\, life is messy in different ways\, but
sometimes you need to grab your bike\, hit the streets\, and let those
songs carry you. Singing loud at stoplights\, doing your best to headbang
and pedal through the city\, letting the angst\, nostalgia remind you of
who you were and who you’ve become and what you have overcame. \n\nIt’s
not about speed. It’s not about distance. It’s about showing up\, feeling
everything\, and letting the music make it okay to take space\, be loud\,
and feel alive. If these bands and others were in your soundtrack too\,
come ride. Big feelings\, jams\, and maybe a little magic\n\nHere’s
Moorland’s description:\nHoping to redeem the lost to Ella’s win last year
and bring out the Emo Titans….\nExpect The Cure\, One Last Wish\, Moss
 Icon\, Split Lip\, Indian Summer\, Rites of spring\, Minor Threat\, as
well as the softer side from late new wave bands and other 80’s and
early\n90’s artists with a penchant for eyeliner and lyrics about the
futility of life and trying but also romantic frustration….\n\nCould this
be my chance to regain glory after lasts years utter defeat? Hoping the
Cure beats out Deathcab for Cutie…\n\n\nAs with all our rides we practice
consent and non-violence.\nWe ask everyone to be responsible for the
safety of the ride and riders by being considerate and respectful…\nIe
please don’t race through the group while riding no hands and smoking a
cigerette while blasting your own music from a tiny speaker….\nLeave
