DESCRIPTION:Are you new to town\, or new to cycling in Portland? Want to 
 explore some of the best low-stress bike routes on the east side of Mount 
 Tabor? Then join our New to Portland ride on Wednesday\, September 30th! 
 \n\nWe'll see parks\, current and future bikeways\, and find other gems in
  the area. This is part of a series of New to Portland rides for 2026 
 exploring different areas and designed for folks who want to get to know 
 their neighborhoods and neighbors.\n\nEvent details\nMontavilla Plaza \, 
 SE 79th and SE Stark Ave\n\nWe will gather at 5:30 p.m. and the ride will 
 start at 6:00 p.m. The ride will end in the same spot.\n\nThis is a 
 moderate-pace (8-10 mph)\, no drop ride\, and will be approximately 6-8 
 miles. This event is free and open to everyone.\nMeet 5:30pm\, ride at
