DESCRIPTION:This TDH stage has been cancelled due to a wind-related 
 incident involving a racer\, his rain poncho\, and a small dog.  See you 
 next year.\nEstablished soon after the construction of the Hawthorne 
 Bridge in 1910\, the Tour d'Hawthorne is a daily bicycle race in 
 Portland\, Oregon.  In recent years\, gas prices and the New York Times 
 travel section have driven participation up to over 7\,000 racers per day.
   Unfortunately\, not all of the participants realize that they are in a 
 race and foot traffic occasionally interferes with the exciting afternoon 
 stage.  Join us on the Hawthorne bridge to cheer for these righteous
