  the area of bare skin exposed on the thighs between a skirt/shorts/dress 
 and over-the-knee or thigh-high socks. We're celebrating this completely 
 impractical but totally awesome fashion element by donning our fav long 
 socks and cycling through the city. *This is a gender-neutral ride\;* all 
 are welcome as long as you bare your thighs and cover your calves. Don't 
 own long socks? Arrive a few minutes early and purchase a pair at the 
 starting point (Sock Dreams). Thigh-high boots also acceptable!\n\nThis
