Meet at the picnic structure near the South end of Willamette Park.

There's a preliminary proposal to build a new pedestrian bridge over the Willamette connecting Lake Oswego with the unincorporated areas of Oak Grove and Jennings Lodge on the other side of the river. This means a cyclist would only have a 1 mile ride from the nearby Trolley Trail to downtown Lake Oswego, compared to about 11 miles of pedaling using the Sellwood or Oregon City bridges. This ride goes to a likely landing spot for the bridge on the East side of the river and explores a couple different ways to get there from the Trolley Trail. We'll meet at the picnic structure near the South end of Willamette Park. The out-and-back ride is 5.5 miles one way with 80% of the distance on 3 separated bike trails and the rest on quiet streets.
