Advanced registration required. See the link, below. The class will be on-bike and will be held outdoors. The first half will consist of parking lot drills including signaling, the quick stop, rock dodge, and quick right turn. The second portion will be a group ride on city streets. The ride will include different types of streets and intersections, some with bicycle facilities and some without, to help students gain confidence. All students are required to bring a bicycle in good working order and a helmet. Bringing water and snacks/lunch is recommended. Registration cost: $50 per student. Age requirement: 16 years or older. Note: Prior to taking the class students will be required to pass an online quiz to demonstrate basic understanding of traffic safety.
