Ride is a loop
Let's get boba (bubble tea), bánh mì (sandwiches), and Asian desserts! High temperatures are forecast, but I'll bring a 10-lb. bag of ice and a few water spray bottles, and we'll eat & drink in shaded areas. First stop is Bình Minh Sandwiches, a 20 min. ride from Sewallcrest. I'll pre-order a variety of 10 sandwiches in the morning, then collect everyone's orders at Sewallcrest and place an add-on order just before we ride. We'll get (non-alcoholic) drinks from BAMBU Desserts & Drinks, a 3-minute ride from Binh Minh. We'll enjoy our sandwiches & drinks at this spot at Portland Community College SE: https://goo.gl/maps/aiZfxZpur96WiCaB8 There's should be plenty of seating -- several benches & a few low walls, and there are some shaded areas under nearby trees. Then it's dessert time! Mojo Crepes, a 2-minute ride east of PCC, has Japanese-style crepes. We'll have our dessert under the trees at Harrison Park, one minute north of Mojo Crepes. Please clean up and leave no trace. Ride is a 9-mile loop. If this ride goes well, I'll lead a similar ride in July and maybe also August.
