    Time Thu, Jul 29, 2021, 6:00 PM

Time details Meet starting at 6:00pm, ride at 7pm!

End location End location: Eastbank Esplanade (near the Vera Katz statue); following this stop, as evening winds down, ride leader will also lead any remaining riders back to starting point

UPDATE POSTED 8/3: Thursday's forecast has been holding pretty steady showing highs that day in the 80s... so we can expect a warm (but not tooo hot) evening by the time our ride kicks off. Costumes encouraged - but DO also make necessary costume adaptations for comfort! **Also, please hydrate throughout the day on Thursday and bring along a water bottle for the ride.** OUR ROUTE will be a 5-6 mile loop starting at Col. Summers, heading eastward, and then turning south to get us to our first stop at Woodstock Park, where we'll hold our costume contest! We'll break and mingle there for about 10-15 minutes before starting the contest, and there's a nearby New Seasons and Safeway that anyone can easily bike to for beverages and refreshments. After the contest, we'll head westward as the sun sets, north through Ladd's Addition, and on to a final stop at the riverfront esplanade near the Hawthorne Bridge. From there, we'll be about an 8-minute ride from our starting point for anyone who wants to peel off, and as the night winds down we'll lead any remaining riders back to Col. Summers. RIDE PLAYLIST ON SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7uOjkVApz7FqWHgIIthkWm?si=SrjRCysZRXqygBO_Y1EUxA&dl_branch=1 *** Time to take the helm at your handlebars and shift gears to Warp 9! Rendezvous at Col. Summers on Stardate 08.05.21 starting at 18:00 for a mission to engage at 19:00! We'll make it so we explore strange new roads and seek out new pit stops and new destinations throughout the SE (alpha) quadrant. Along the way, expect music, costumes, and prizes.
