Let's wear handmade clothing (and/or accessories, for your body or your bike) and visit a few NE/N textile art stores! Along the way we will stop at a park or two in order to show off and share. We might even stop by a PDX Free Fridge to drop off socks, masks, or other needed goods (please see their faq). All ages and textile-adjacent crafts are welcome. Here's the itinerary so far. We recommend placing pre-orders to support the shops without going inside. Meet at Bolt Neighborhood Boutique at 10 am, ride at 10:30 (10% off pre-orders placed before noon the Friday before) Collage Close Knit Modern Domestic (10% pre-orders or in-store with code PEDAL10) Peninsula Park Rose Garden* Artist & Craftsman (if there's interest) PDX Free Pantry Kilpatrick and Chatauqua Weird Sisters Yarn Cathedral Park This is not a loop but the #75 bus will take you back to Bolt from Weird Sisters. * For those wanting a shorter ride, Bolt to Peninsula Park is roughly 4 miles. If you come all the way to Weird Sisters with us, that will be about 10 miles. We're taking greenways most of the way, with some time on Rosa Parks (protected lanes) and Ainsworth (low traffic bike throughfare with a median). ** If the temp is over 100, we'll reschedule.
