Let’s go geocaching! In case you’re not familiar, geocaching generally involves using GPS coordinates to find hidden containers that have a log to sign and sometimes have small items to trade. We’ll ride around to a few different places to find geocaches, potentially including some hidden just for this ride. Bringing a smartphone with the Geocaching app downloaded is recommended but not required. We’ll only be seeking caches available with a free account. Bringing a writing utensil is always a good habit when geocaching, but we can share as needed. At the start point, I’ll go over the plan, and everyone can try finding the cache nearby. We’ll head to a second cache on the south side of the park before heading to other locations. Depending on the size of the group, we might try an Adventure Lab as well. We’ll end at Colonel Summers Park for The Big Lebowski Ride. Please keep in mind that Geocaching should be done as inconspicuously as possible to avoid revealing cache locations to others (both in the group and passing strangers).
