Come tour first-hand the green loop with Friends of Green Loop and Bikeloud PDX members! Learn about the several projects in motion and details to the route that will soon become the 'linear park' of our beautiful inner city. We'll start at the Ankeny West Food Cart Pod for anyone wanting to support the carts and grab a pre-ride meal. 3 Meetup opportunities: 1) Ankeny West Food Cart. Leave around 2pm. 2) East Tilikum Crossing. Arrive around 2:45, leave at 3pm 3) Rose Quarter. Arrive around 3:45, leave at 4pm. Feel free to drop in/out whenever. This will be a very casually-paced ride with lots of stops for QA. End back at the Ankeny West Food Cart Pod. Update 8/17: Please wear your mask during our stops. Please respect social distance while at our stops and riding. If you are experiencing ANY symptoms: sit this one out. We'd love to see you in a future ride, though:) Update 8/20: To answer some concerns, this so-called 'rally' will be Sunday the day after this ride. If you still don't feel comfortable riding through neighborhoods many Portlanders call home 24/7, then don't! No one is obligated to attend.
