Who's ready for a full summer of bike fun? This is the big ride that kicks off the festivities every year. Bring yourself and your bike to the kick off location where volunteers will be selling Pedalpalooza merch from 5-5:45PM. We'll depart at 6:00PM on a family-friendly cruise, lasting about 45 minutes. You are encouraged to dress yourself and your bike up. Immunocompromised community members, listen up! If you'd like to ride with other masked cyclists, meet on the north side of the pond where there will be someone drumming. Our volunteers will help you get to the front of the ride. We'll leave from the bathrooms heading west on the northern trail towards SE Ankeny St and taking Ankeny to SE 6th Ave. Then heading north to NE Couch St. back westward to connect to the Burnside Bridge. Once over the bridge, we'll take right turns to get onto SW Naito Parkway and take that to NW Overton St. We cross the tracks three times, so please be careful! Ride will pause at The Fields Park and then you have options: 1) Hang at The Fields Park with DJ Carlos who will then slow roll to Colonel Summers 2) Make your way to Beaverton by MAX or bicycle to meet up with the Westside Wednesday Ride.
