Thinking about biking to summer festivals like Pickathon? Considering an overnighter at Oxbow? Come hang out under the Douglas firs in foresty Mount Scott Park and learn all about bike camping gear, area campgrounds, routes, and more! No experience or equipment necessary, though experienced bike campers are encouraged to come to hang out and share tips and tricks! We’ll provide #coffeeoutside and snacks. Extra snacks for just yourself or to share are welcome :) If you’re coming by bike, join us after the meetup for an almost-loop group ride that will end at Portland Mercado for those who want to stay and have lunch. Coming by MAX? Take the Green Line to the Lents Town Center/Foster Rd station and then head one flat mile west. Coming by bus? Take the 14 to SE Foster and 72nd and then head ½ flat mile south. https://trimet.org/schedules/r014.htm * FTW means "femme, transgender, women" and refers to anyone who does not benefit from cis male privilege.
