Do you like lizards? Do you own a few geckos and think they’re super cool? Or are you neutral but respect how some can lick their eyeballs? Cool!! Then join me as we celebrate these cute exothermic weirdos on August 14th, aka WORLD LIZARD DAY! There will be tunes loosely related to lizards (see: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizards, 2Tone Lizard Kings, 1000 gecs, etc), anything to get us pumped and maybe thinking lizard-y thoughts!? Ride will be party pace as we pass lounge lizard, ride through multiple parks, and have a single store stop for extra hydration/snacks if we’re feeling crispy, plus an opportunity to get bug feeders at a local pet shop (Pets on Broadway)! 10-15ish miles. Bring your best lizard fact, lizard shirt, or beaded lizard keychain but PLEASE leave your reptile at home! And because it’s summer and the gnats are alive and well, a prize will be given to those who accidentally eat the most bugs/probably gnats while riding hahaha.
