The free, annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is a Portland gem. Join Skip and Sander on a party-pace ride from inner SE for vegan picnicking, some frisbee, and some great jazz under the beautiful St. Johns Bridge. You can meet us at the start or en route (text me at 831 325 9798 for real-time location on Google Maps). We’ll ride east of the river (so no Hwy 30) for a roughly 12 mile, max-greenway journey. Will stop for lunch in St. Johns at Flourish Plant-Based Kitchen. There are some other options next to it. This is a one-way ride, so stay as long as you’d like. We plan on taking the bus home. You don’t have to be vegan to join us, but please only vegan food with the group. There will be food carts at the festival, but vegan mileage may vary, and expect lines and festival food prices. Please read up about the festival (which runs all weekend) and be prepared for some sun exposure, despite getting there early enough for early dibs on spots. It’s the 42nd annual of this festival!
