Ride is a loop
Due to a number of factors, I am postponing this event. However! Do happen to have (a lot of) food. So anyone who would like to meet at the north side of Overlook Park (bike or no bike) for a simple social picnic, please feel free to join and bring along whoever you like! NOON MEET-UP Sorry for the sudden change in plans, try not to have them but couldn't avoid this one! ---------- This one's been on my radar for a bit! As well as just getting a ride in the books that's very accessible, enjoyable, and a good excuse to pack a picnic. This segment of the Banks Vernonia is one of the most pleasant and simple little jaunts I've found near-to-town, and the Stub Steward Day Use area has a great view on a clear day (fingers crossed!). Ride begins 30m outside of town at the BV trailhead (ample parking available). Despite what Strava says here, the ride is 100% paved so any 'ol 10-speed Sears bike dragged out of a dusty garage should do the trick just fine. I'll be bringing food to share and camp coffee fixings, please feel free to bring and share whatever you like!
