Come celebrate the opening of the Congressman Earl Blumenauer Bridge! Join us for a tour of bikeways that overcome obstacles in Portland’s Central City. We’ll cross bike-only bridges, use bike-friendly streets, lanes and paths, and see several of Portland's solutions for making comfortable bike routes in a dense urban environment. Great for folks new to biking, new to the city or, like the Blumenauer Bridge, both. Easy-paced, no one left behind, and with bits of quirky gossip about infrastructure. Please bring your helmet and water. About 2 hours long and covering 8.5 miles.
