Calling all Kanaka (Native Hawaiian), Kamaaina (Hawaii local), a kakou (everyone else)!! Let's gather and holo holo through the streets of Portland with ALOHA & PRIDE celebrating everything great about our "808 state"! Bring da ohana, bring da keiki, bring da kine. (we will not have large PA so feel free to bring a speaker) We'll start at Laurelhurst park and cruise over to 808 Grinds Food Cart (kids welcome, LIMITED seating) & Gigantic Brewing (21+ ONLY) for local kine food and good beer in SE. 808 Grinds closes at 8:00PM. There will be a ride looping back up to the park when food/drink are finished, but feel free to head home from the food/drink location if you need to "kanak attack" :-) If you have a longer bike chain, please pack it to share with anyone in need. No drop ride. This will be a QTBIPOC/Mahu led ride. All are welcome.
