BLACK ROCK CITY! Pedalpalooza has a lot of overlap with Burning Man and Burning Man culture and Portland has a solid Burner community, so why not bring Pedalpalooza to Black Rock City? Maybe we can do two tutu Tuesday rides on tutu Tuesday? I'm into it. Meet in front of Media Mecca in Center Camp just after sunset (civil twilight is usually around 8). We'll head out around 8:30 or 9, take a slow roll through the city to the man, maybe the temple if everyone's into it. I plan to ride along the promenade, diverting to see cool art or Burning Man shenaniganry. Clothing optional; however, I do politely ask that everyone have lights and a tutu, however you define tutu. Also, bring water and keep in mind it can get chilly overnight. I'll be in my rainbow, lighted tutu in front of Media Mecca. UPDATE: I changed the date to actually be Tuesday, August 30.
