What was your favorite Pedalpalooza ride this year? The Cat Ride? Teal Ride? Loud n’ Lit? Come celebrate the end of Bike Summer with the PDX Unity Ride! Come dressed in an outfit inspired by your favorite ride of the summer — or in one based on a ride you would like to see in the future. You do not need to be in costume to ride with us; you just need to be clothed. No nudity! Nipples and other private bits must be covered. This applies to all riders. The ride starts and ends at Peninsula Park. Meet at the gazebo at 7 p.m. Ride begins at 7:30. We’ll ride through some neighborhoods in Northeast, pass on through Belmont and Hawthrone, get in some Ladd’s Laps, cross the new Blumenauer Bridge, then return to Peninsula Park. We’ll have a store stop and possibly a park stop about halfway through. Ride is about 13 miles long. WE FOLLOW THE COVID SAFETY PLAN For the health and safety of others, please follow these guidelines: 1. Masks are welcome! We invite you to mask up throughout the ride if you choose to do so. 2. We encourage everyone to wear a mask at store stops. 3. Keep adequate space between yourself and others when riding and at park stops. 4. Stay home if you are sick! 5. Please respect other riders who ask you to mask up or give space when you approach them. 6. Above all, treat everyone thoughtfully and with kindness! As usual, this is a no-drop ride, and all wheels are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We hope you can join us! ————— The PDX Unity Ride centers the experiences of women, as well as trans, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and gender-curious individuals.
