    Loop Ride is a loop

So this ride is going to give us all the chance to ride around the racetrack and look at the Christmas light displays. Also it’ll be a Monday night and less busy than the chaos of the weekends there. https://winterwonderlandportland.com/general-info/ Our guest ride leader is Tom Howe. Tom leads many rides introducing people to our cities greenways. He also hosted the 2021 Pedalapolooza Audrey Hepburn ride, which he curated sublimely. NakedHearts:PDX will be supporting Tom and Gertrude our sound and light system community funded trailer will be present too. This venture will take us on bike routes to the Victorian mansion in Kenton, then down to the race track to see the Winter Wonderland Christmas light display. So there is an entry fee ($15) for the light display and we (NakedHearts:PDX/Moorland) will have some funds set aside to help people cover the $15 entrance fee. It’s super important to me personally that no one is excluded by the ticket price barrier. If you’re fortunate enough to chip in a few dollars to help others get entrance it’d be appreciated. We want to be able to cover those of us in our community who might be excluded. If you know you need a ticket covered please contact me ahead of time to be sure there’s funds available, my email is down below. if you can pay only $5 we will try and cover the rest. We ride together and we take care of each other the best we can…it’s how we ride. Mellow Mondays rides are an ongoing ride for chilling with friends and welcoming new people to our community. Gift sharing is optional and small gifts such as snacks or stickers are just an easy way for us all to come together and get to know each other. We will have different ride leaders now and then but we all foster our community of joy and acceptance starting from a place of trust and safety. All of our rides are safe spaces and we foster a community of acceptance and mutual regard. Additional information: We strongly recommend any and all PDX:Unity rides and the warm/safe atmosphere they create for our marginalized communities. Also: Sabrina (From Fancy Mondays Picnic rides) is now hosting ‘Say Hi Sundays’ which is a ride encouraging community bonding and new friendships.
