Are you new to Portland? New to Biking in Portland? New to Pedalpalooza Bike Summer? This is the ride for you! We will lead you in a casual and no-drop tour of PDX along greenways in the different quadrants of our beautiful city and guide you through the in's and out's of Pedalpalooza. You'll have the chance to meet and talk with fellow riders, learn about Pedalpalooza's past, get tips for riding in Portland in the summer. Be prepared for some interactive portions at a park. This ride will cross bridges and stop at a couple great views along the river. Don't forget to bring a (cable) lock, lights, and a light jacket. We also encourage helmets. The ride will have a half way stop for some drinks and connection and end on the Eastside Esplanade. Beverages generously donated by Upstanding Beer and Cider! Don't have a bike? Not a problem. She has organized Pedalpalooza in Portland for many years and knows in the ins and outs of bike greenways and bike friendly streets around the city. > Rachel is new to Portland as of September 2022. While this is her first Pedalpalooza, she is eager to welcome all new folx to hop on a bike and enjoy the parts of Portland she has most enjoyed in the last 10 months.
