    Time details Skate from 9-10 a.m. Roll-out at 10ish.

End location End location: Glenhaven Skatepark

Join us at the PSU Courts for a skate sesh in the morning followed by a group bike ride over to Glenhaven Skatepark for more fun. All wheels welcome: Skateboards, quads, blades, scooters, BMX, heelies – though, we recommend a bike as your main source of transportation for the group ride itself. There’s also a ton of grass and a great park space at Glenhaven, so feel free to bring a blanket if you just want to join the group ride and then hang out and chill for the afternoon. All levels welcome: There’s flat spaces to skate and roll around at both the Courts and Glenhaven, so all levels are welcome! Don’t worry if you’re not ready to drop in on transition or tackle any street obstacles. All people welcome: The ride leaders include non-binary folks, queer folks, women, BIPOC, quad skaters. Everyone’s welcome, but please know this will be an inclusive space and macho, aggressive, general jerk energy will not be tolerated. Roll out from the PSU Courts at 10 a.m. (Meet at the courts to skate anytime before then. Ride leaders plan to be there by 9 a.m.) The bike over to Glenhaven is roughly 7 miles. There will be a store stop! The route will follow neighborhood greenways and other safe biking streets when it can. Corkers may be needed at intersections depending on group size. This will be a casually-paced, no-drop ride, and we’ll try to keep the group together as well as we can. Depending on the pace of the ride, and any additional stops added in, we hope to arrive at Glenhaven no later than noon. That timing estimate will be updated closer to the ride. Riders will be responsible for getting themselves back after the ride. There will be no official roll-out heading back, though group leaders will be biking back toward inner southeast and folks are welcome to join. Remember to BYO protective equipment, snacks, water and sunscreen!
