Come tour the Lloyd EcoDistirct with us – learning about why there is more to the Lloyd than meets the eye. Lloyd is the first and only certified EcoDistrict / Just Growth community in Portland and across the entire state of Oregon, and only the fourth on the West Coast. Being a certified EcoDistrict / Just Growth community means we are taking a collaborative, holistic approach to develop and set achievable goals prioritizing equity, resilience, and climate protection at the neighborhood level. So what is an EcoDistrict? Join us for a bike ride around the EcoDistrict as we discuss EcoDistrict concepts and we how we are transforming these concepts into reality. Amongst a variety of locations, we will visit the nation’s first pollinator bike corridor, advanced water treatment systems, sustainable buildings, murals, memorials, parks, and more. UPDATE: We’ll end the ride at Holladay Park. Due to unsafe swimming conditions in the Willamette River, we will no longer be ending the ride at Duckworth Dock.
