    Loop Ride is a loop

Want to join in on the Pedalpalooza fun but aren't yet comfortable riding in a group? Join us for a short, easy-paced loop ride on Saturday, June 17. We'll meet at Irving Park, near the tennis courts, at 2 p.m. and ride no earlier than 2:30 p.m. Ride is a short, 4-mile loop through the Irvington neighborhood at an easy 8 mph—mostly on greenways and other residential streets. We'll also discuss safety, go over some common group ride terms, share some tips, and answer any questions you might have. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CYCLING LESSON. This ride assumes that you are comfortable with operating a bike on the sidewalk or quiet residential streets. All are welcome! Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. ------ This ride is presented by PDX Unity Ride, a queer- and trans-friendly cycling collective that's working to build community through a shared love of cycling. We welcome cyclists regardless of their skill level or ability. All bikes welcome, including e-bikes and adaptive bikes. Masking encouraged indoors and when in close proximity to others. We follow the Shift2Bikes COVID Plan.
