It's back and almost the same route as last time! Calling all cyclists, robotboys, fembots, and dancehall queens! Call your girlfriend and tell her it’s time that we dance to the beat. This ride is all Robyn. Who’s that girl? She's an internationally loved Swedish pop-star. She's the founder and CEO of Konichiwa Records. Listed in section 202 of the United Nations Security Act of 1979 as being too hot to wear tight sweaters on international airspace. We’ll take an 8ish mile ride around town hitting a bunch of great group-ride spots. Begins at Irving Park then we’ll ride a parking garage, ride over the Blumenuer bike bridge, take Burnside, go over a couple bridges, and end at Ladd’s addition for some roses. Do you know what it takes to make this a great ride? We will need corkers (and those who are cork curious), speakers (for music), and of course you! Dress your Robyn fantasy - ride leader will be in a Robin (superhero) costume. Be sure to bring water (you’re not indestructible) and snacks/beverages - there will NOT be a store stop, though there will be a bathroom break. We will sync speakers for the music on this ride, so download the collaborative playlist on Spotify below. Add your fave Robyn song if it’s not there already.
