End location: Mocks Crest aka Skidmore Bluffs
There are so many parks in North Portland, let's check them out! We will be passing through (or near) 40 public parks and 10+ publicly accessible "park-like spaces" throughout North and Northeast Portland. Total route length is approximately 35 meandering miles and will include many portions of gravel, woodchips, dirt, alleyways, unimproved roadways, bottlenecks, and general nonsense. Wider tires recommended but not required. Expect a couple of brief moderate climbs as well. Swift pace, no-drop mentality. There will be at least a couple park stops (lol) and one store stop near the end spot. We will be riding through many parks. school campuses, and "private" walkways so be on the lookout for pedestrians and dogs, and yield accordingly! The ride isn't quite a loop but the start and end spots are very close to one another. Both parks are quite near to the Yellow Line Overlook Stop.
