End location: Milwaukie Bay Park
Groove-o-nauts and Astrobabes, We meet again to fire up our UAPs, engage the hyper-thrust, and embark on a far out space mission in the SellWaukie cluster. Flight plan as follows: • 5:00 pm - Gather at Johnson Creek Park Launchpad to pre-boogy (Don't forget to bring your favorite Non-human Biologics!) • 5:30 pm - LIFTOFF • Soar above the stunning Willamette Ravine • Dance break at Willamette Park • Cruise down the Springwormhole Corridor • Sunset Beach Party at Milwaukie Bay Spaceport (bring a swimsuit/towel if you wanna dip) Moderate pace. 7ish miles. Costumes strongly advised (any combination of 70s garb, space or sci-fi themed clothing, robot attire, space creatures, anything astrological, sparkles, shinies, light-up stuff, etc). Dance breaks inevitable. BYO snacks and drinks (there are some convenience stores near the end spot). End spot is about a mile from start spot. Start and end spots are both very close to MAX orange line stops.
