    Loop Ride is a loop

We are excited to partner with Multnomah County I.D.E.A. to present a masked bike ride on Saturday, July 8! The ride meets at 11:30 a.m. and leaves at 12 noon, and it features a rose garden social hour and walkthrough. Route is a loop, starting and ending at a neighborhood park with available street parking. It's about 3 miles long and generally flat. *This is a masked ride.* A well-fitting KN95 or better is required to attend. If you need a mask, we will have some 3M Aura N95 masks available. To participate, please email jaquie.kunz@gmail.com and our ride leaders will provide the starting location and route information. Can't join us in person? We'll set up a video chat via Google Meet for the social hour so you can join in virtually. Need a bike? Biketown offers rentals through the Lyft app. Adaptive bike rentals are available through Adaptive Biketown. To learn more, visit adapativebiketown.com/reservations. NOTE: We are monitoring air quality forecasts for Saturday. If the air quality looks like it will be unhealthy, we will cancel or postpone the ride. ------------ I.D.E.A (Including Disability in Equity and Access) is a resource group for Multnomah County employees. Its mission is to "promote a culture of inclusion by providing leadership, raising awareness, valuing differences, identifying barriers and encouraging an accessible workplace that fosters equity, dignity, and respect." PDX Unity Ride is a queer- and trans-friendly cycling collective that's working to build community through a shared love of cycling. All LGBTQ+ folks and allies welcome. We welcome cyclists regardless of their skill level or ability. All bikes welcome, including e-bikes and adaptive bikes. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
