Do you enjoy folding scarves? Did you tell everyone at your 10 year high school reunion that you invented post-it’s? Do you ever find yourself sitting in your room with your best friend thinking that even though you’ve watched Pretty Woman like thirty-six times, you never get tired of making fun of it? Well, this ride might be the one for you! We’re gonna have a Romy & Michele day on this Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion themed ride. Celebrating a cult classic that never goes out of style. Just make sure to dress up for the occasion because we’re going to a reunion. Whether it’s prom inspired, businesswoman chic, 80’s, or 90’s just make sure your look has “nice lines and a fun, frisky use of color.” That’s right, this ride is going to a reunion! This ride will be: - Roughly 8 miles long at a casual pace (( Route Map Link Below )) - Listening to the incredibly 80's/90's movie soundtrack (( Save the Spotify Playlist Below )) - Climbs Clinton (but it's worth it) - Option for folks who don't want to climb. - No-drop - Taking the lane on some major streets - Enjoying a park stop to chill - Ending at White Owl Social Club for a special Romy and Michele themed party “I’m the Mary!” All ride attendees will get in to the party for free - duh. Expect local DJ’s spinning great music, and of course drag performances inspired by the movie including a recreation of the iconic Time After Time dance sequence. Think you’re “most changed for the better since high school”? Bring a picture of yourself from high school and see if you’ll be voted most changed for the better. Just make sure you don’t lose your top before the big vote. This ride will have one store stop for all of you who have been on a new fat free diet you invented. You know the one that consists of gummy bears, jelly beans, and candy corn? God, we wish we had your discipline. DJ bikes, speakers, and corking are encouraged - (( Save the Spotify Playlist Below )) ** It's gonna be warm, bring water and sunscreen. Store stop en route if you forget ** This ride, and party, are queer hosted and safer spaces for our queer community. This means there will be no room for bad people with ugly hearts, because we don’t give a flying f*ck what they think.
