End location End location: Thunderbird Bar on Foster Rd

This ride is about bicyclists helping community members plant native pollinator gardens! If you are passionate about saving the bees, birds, plants, or helping out your community this is the ride for you! We are doing this because plants are expensive and not everyone can afford them and also landscaping is hard. We have 2 homes that we will be planting in their street strip. Plants have been donated from Portland State University Rae Berry Seed Bank and purchased through Twinflower Natives. Come learn about native plants and the native bees that depend on them. Bring your garden spade and gloves and get ready to dig a couple holes! Bee/plant/garden costumes encouraged. For more information or to help us purchase plants for this ride go to our instagram page @petalpaloozabeecycle Join us for part or all of this ~10mi bike ride. Multiple breaks throughout to get snacks and geek out on plants. Ride is not a loop. If you do plan on attending, send us an email as an RSVP. Not a requirement, just helpful with a bike ride that has a lot of logistics behind it!
