PDX Slut Pedal is here for a sweet bike ride on October 8th! This ride is centered around BIPOC and Queer SW, but ALL local dancers, s*x work*rs, and performers or coaches are welcome for this fun, community oriented bike ride and party event. We will meet at Irving Park at 1:30, and ride by 2:00pm. The ride will be at a casual pace and no riders will be left behind, including mechanical problems. We will have participants on the ride who can help with basic bike mechanical issues if they arise. We will stop at Laurelhurst Park for games and community building, and finish the ride at Lil’ America food carts for music, drinks, food, and pole jam! We will party at Lil’ America featuring music from DJ Omie. We will have raffle prizes available and stage poles to jam on. Prizes include headphones, a 4-week series from Iko Movement, and private pole lessons. Raffle proceeds will go to local sex worker mutual aid groups. ALL are welcome to the bike ride and party. This is a community event and fundraiser, so we encourage all non-s*x work*rs to bring cash (or venmo/cashapp) to directly support local sex workers and strippers present at the ride, as well as raise funds for mutual aid! We believe everyone should have access to affordable transportation. We’ve teamed up with PBOT and received 25 Transportation Wallets with funds used for Trimet, Biketown, e-scooters, and rideshare apps like Lyft and Uber. First dibs for Transportation Wallets go toward BIPOC/Queer s*x work*rs and performers. Learn more about PBOT’s Transportation Wallet: Access for All program here. Community Guidelines This is a safe ride and event. We do not allow harassment, violence, racism, or bigotry of any kind on this ride. All participants are required to ask for consent before touching one another, their property, or to take photos/video. If you witness or experience an issue, please alert a ride leader or safe person. If you cannot follow these guidelines, you will be asked to leave the event.
