    Meet behind the Walgreens, west of 10th Ave. If arriving by MAX Blue line, disembark at the Tuality Hospital/SE 8th Ave station and come east on Washington or Gumleaf.

    The ride Joe didn't get to finish. On a Saturday afternoon in February, 12-year-old Joe Brausen was on his way to play basketball with a friend at the nearby elementary school. He was struck and killed by a driver while riding his bike on the sidewalk at 10th and Gumleaf in Hillsboro. To honor his memory, we will complete his ride to Lincoln Elementary School, by bike or on foot. Then, we will return to 10th and Gumleaf to install his ghost bike.
