    Contrapalooza is back! Dancing? Biking? YES. Join us for a night of lively folk dance with smiley humans as we ride and dance our way around Portland. This ride is designed for beginners to learn how to contra dance, no experience needed! Just bring a good attitude and willingness to make mistakes. We will roll around town with dance stops brought to you by caller William Watson and music by Naked Hearts PDX. Each of the dances will have instructions, all calling is non gendered, and this is an intentionally queer welcoming space. Join us! (We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides. Please help make the ride as safe as possible for yourself and others. If you’ve special needs please come talk to your ride leaders. Banned riders and riders who can’t post on the calendar are banned here too. )
