WeBike events are for women, trans, and non-binary folks. This includes but is not limited to trans men, trans women, cis women, agender, gender queer, gender fluid, gender nonconforming, and Two Spirit people. Come hang out under the Douglas firs in foresty Mount Scott Park and learn all about bike camping gear, area campgrounds, routes, and more! No experience or equipment necessary, though experienced bike campers are encouraged to come to hang out and share tips and tricks! You’ll leave with packing checklists and resource flyers, and we’ll do some fun crowdsourcing of meal ideas! Coming by MAX? Take the Green Line to the Lents Town Center/Foster Rd station and then head one flat mile west. Coming by bus? Take the 14 to SE Foster and 72nd and then head 1/2 flat mile south. Save the dates for upcoming bike camping trips! WeBike is hosting two beginner-friendly trips this summer: Sat-Sun Aug 3-4 and Sat-Sun Aug 24-25.
