Plant lovers and wannabe-plant lovers, come join us as we pedal down the streets of Portland checking out 5 stops with *very cool* plants for the 3rd Annual PLANTS & PEDALS! We'll have a rad plant playlist to roll to, friends talking about their favorite plants, poetry shared...so many things, all plant-related in some way. We will be highlighting different plants around N and NE, with a loop that is about 10 miles. Costumes encouraged! Don that giant carrot costume hiding in your closet...pick some flowers...wear a plant shirt...dress up as your most fav plant...your love for the flora community will be apparent in whatever form you come. It doesn't matter how you pronounce tomato, or whether you believe it's a fruit or a vegetable...come have a grand time with us and be prepared to share your favorite plant (in the moment, for the season, of the hour......). This ride practices consent and non-violence, and follows the SHIFT code of conduct, and if you’re a banned from posting there, you're banned here, too. We have no tolerance for bigotry, hatred, and bullies. Bathroom stop included! Bring bevys/snacks/nourishment as we won't be stopping at a store or foraging for fruit (there's a ride for that!). All wheels welcome, including e-bikes and skates.
