I’m a bird, you’re a bird. Birds!Birds!Birds! Come dressed as a bird. It can be your favorite bird, your nemesis bird, your spark bird, an iconic bird, or a made-up bird. Don't be a chicken – bring your binos and ID books. Come prepared to identify fellow fliers and birds in the wild. Ride will meet at Mount Tabor at 5:00pm at the Biketown corral at SE Lincoln and SE 64th Ave (You'll see us, we'll be dressed as birds...). We'll kick things off with a bit of birding around Tabor. Bring your bike locks, as we'll be locking our bikes and birding by foot. We'll hang at the bike corral from about 5:00-5:10pm allowing folks to arrive then will head up into the park for birding - IF you arrive late, text me and I'll direct you to where we are in the park. The ride will take flight from the Biketown corral at Tabor at 6:00pm. We'll ride to Oaks Bottom for our second birding stop (eta 6:30pm) Expect to stay at Oaks Bottom for about 45 minutes, then we'll conclude the ride at Double Dragon (eta 7:30pm) for some bites, drinks and comparing Life Lists. Don't be a fair-weather birder, join us and have no egrets! Ride is open to bird lovers of any kind - no birding knowledge or experience required. Come make some fancy feathered friends!
